Bibles for Children
Mission: To share God's Word, primarily with children, by providing Bibles they can read.
Missional Verse: "Your word is like a lamp that shows me the way. It is like a light that guides me." Psalm 119:105 (NIrV)
This mission began in October 2016 when a member of a small bible study group inspired other group members to provide children's Bibles to a local Christmas charity to distribute to families within the community. The group ordered 1,200 third-grade reading level Bibles, which arrived in mid-November and were wrapped and ready for delivery across the community on the first weekend in December. No small task, but God is good and faithful to his servants, and children were blessed.
More than 12,000 Bibles have now been distributed to children since the mission began in 2016.
